The United States Football League said Monday that it plans to build a mid-sized football stadium and commercial development for a franchise somewhere in Alabama.
According to al.com, the USFL did not name the city where the franchise will be located, but Jaime Cuadra, USFL's president and CEO, said it is not Birmingham.
Cuadra said land has been purchased for the development of the Alabama franchise and the USFL is waiting for the unnamed city to approve permits.
